Sue McNeice

Profile

Sue McNeice is an Ontario Certified School Teacher and the Director of Instruction for the Reading Improvement Centre.

History

For over 20 years Sue McNeice has worked with thousands of students and professional people, teaching them how to make their day more productive by applying speed-reading techniques in their daily reading demands.  Sue claims that people naturally have the ability to read at a much faster rate, but get bogged down in their reading by restrictive habits, such as subvocalizating and fixating on individual words.  This slow pace makes concentration difficult and comprehension suffers.  Sue takes personal interest in each student to help them in their mastery of the course.

As a recognized authority in the field of speed-reading, she has been interviewed for articles in leading magazines and newspapers and has had the pleasure of conducting in-house programs with Ridley College, Procter and Gamble, Upper Canada College, Westinghouse Canada, Central Baptist Seminary, Dofasco, Appleby College, Shell Oil, Sheridan College, Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, George Brown College and Dalton Pharma Services Inc.
