Project Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role managing and overseeing engineering projects, including tasks such as designing, implementing, qualifying and validating processes, equipment, facility, and utility to ensure compliance with regulations.

Duties:
  • Manage engineering projects, including tasks such as designing, implementing, qualifying and validating processes, equipment, facility, and utility to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Provide engineering oversight and technical management on facility expansion projects, including construction of new facility, cleanroom, and related commissioning and qualification
  • Evaluation new pharmaceutical technology for the company’s growing business needs.
  • Represent engineering in collaboration with external vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure project timeline, scope and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Focus on technologies, facility and utility required for several SKK projects, including SI-449, MucoUp and Hernicore, and under the supervision of the President
  • Work closely with Facility and Tech Services Team on manufacturing facility expansion and utility upgrade projects
  • Maintain documentation and adhere to quality standards, GMP requirements and Dalton policy and process
  • Collaborate with external partners for facility expansion and utility upgrade to align project timelines, scope, and costs with contractual agreements
  • Create, review and approve documents related to URS, FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ, and any other related items.
  • Lead and participate design and qualification activities, including URS, FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ for new equipment, utility and facility related to SKK projects.
  • Write, review and execute qualification protocols.
  • Provide general support for Facility and Tech Services Team for other project needs, when required.
  • Assist with process automation and implementation of new automation systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, such as chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or pharmaceutical engineering
  • Over 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical industry and familiarity with industry regulations, such as such as FDA guidelines and GMP requirements.
  • Over 5 years hand-on experience with the introduction and qualification of pharmaceutical technology, manufacturing facility and utility installation and upgrade
  • Previous experience with project management · Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical processes
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills · Solid technical writing skills · Familiarity with software tools, e.g. AutoCAD, and project management software
